led us in prayer.
Bill Stambaugh
passed cards around for George Volz’ father who
passed away. Franklin Littlefield has had ongoing
cancer concerns and Don Baugous informed us of a
recent hospital visit.
Gary Spivey
gave us the Treasurer’s report. $3,909.84 fro
inception of 2004. $360.90 as of 12/7/05. Mission
gifts: $3,700.00. 6 Purdue scholarships: $1,200.00.
Scott Avery made a motion to recharter for 2006; it
was seconded by Dennis Edwards. The motion carried.

Conference – Twenty-five or thirty UMM in
attendance. Six UMM from Omaha District were in
attendance. Theme, Lighting the Fire, was well
received.

presentation by Bishop Ann Sherer on evangelism.

Panel
discussion was held by presidents of each conference
or district. Bill Stambaugh did an outstanding
presentation. Gary Spivey and Dave Mendyk both
shared their musical talents.

John Wesley
spoke about the healthy foods we should eat. The
Bible tells us what kinds of food we should eat.
We are what we
eat? Dennis said we need to light a fire under our
pastors to have them preach about what we should eat
and we all would be healthier. There will be a feast
after the presentation.
EMS – Every
Man Shares – dues are again due and Bill Stambaugh
said every leader should participate. Thirty dollars
per year gets you an EMS.
Motion was
made by Gary Spivey and seconded by Randy Fleming to
give a 100 Club membership in memory of Robert Volz
who passed away November 23, 2005.
Jerry Farber
will be giving his first testimonial at his home
church on January 1st
at 10:30 a.m.
Dennis Edwards
moved and Ted Black seconded the motion to give
Randy Sailors an EMS membership. Motion carried.
Jerry Farber
said the Ashland United Methodist Men are meeting
monthly with attendance from 10 to 17 men. Jerry
Farber was elected the president. On Super Bowl
Sunday they will have soup supper; 50% will go to a
local mission and the other 50% going to United
Methodist Men.
Randy Fleming
shared with the men that we had a tremendous year
for UMM 100 Club with 176 new individual donors and
15 new 1,000 Club donors; there are a total of 870
individual members.

requests were heard and Gary Spivey gave the closing
prayer.
